Welcome to RJ Dowding Ltd's privacy notice.

This privacy notice provides information on how RJ Dowding Ltd collects and processes your personal data when you subscribe to our services whether as a free or paying member. Some sections of this notice will apply only to paying members, we make it clear when this is the case.

When we refer to 'service' we mean the hosting of online servers on which games can be played.

It is important that you read this privacy notice together with our website privacy policy which contains more detailed information about our data processing and can be accessed here.

1. Important information and who we are

2. The data we collect about you

Personal data, or personal information, means any information about an individual from which that person can be identified. It does not include data where the identity has been removed. Anonymised data and data using pseudonyms that does not enable an individual to be identified is not of itself personal data.

You are strongly encouraged to ensure that your Steam ID and username and chat history do not reveal personal details about yourself.

In most instances, including non-paying members, the data which we collect from you in connection with us providing the service does not constitute personal data, or personal information, either taken individually or in the aggregate as this does not allow us to identify any individual.

We do collect, store, and process non-personal data in respect of all our members which includes:

  1. IP Addresses
  2. Steam IDs
  3. Usernames
  4. Chat History
  5. In-game Activity
  6. Play-time of the Servers
  7. Ban history / anti-cheating history / links to other accounts
  8. Behavioural reviews.

If you choose to link your social media accounts with your member account with us, we may also collect and store some or all of the following data:

  1. Tokens for social media (Twitch/Youtube/Discord/Twitter)
  2. Usernames for the above
  3. Dates that the accounts were updated
  4. The statistics of what standard users do in game, linking the Steam id and username and activity correlating to the user.

When corresponding with us and our moderators, if you choose to use your actual name rather than a pseudonym or username then this will constitute personal data and will incidentally be stored by us with our records of such correspondence for the purposes of administering your account and for audit purposes.

3. Data relating to paid members

In respect of paid members we also collect the following data for the billing, accounting and auditing purposes:

  1. Email addresses
  2. Paypal/Stripe Account Name
  3. Purchase amount
  4. Purchase History
  5. Country of Purchase

Depending on the manner in which you have set up your billing account with your payment processing provider this information may constitute personal data. It is your responsibility to regularly check the privacy terms of the external payment provider to ensure that you accept these as we are not responsible for and have no control over them.

Additionally, we may have access to billing addresses and the last 4 digits used for card payment for payment history and verification purposes; however, we do not store this data which is held by the payment provider.

4. Our sharing of your data

Your user account details and status, settings, and activity (including chat activity) may be shared with our data hosting providers in the course of their hosting the website, the user accounts and chat data and with our employees and external consultants for the purpose of administering your account, dealing with technical issues and complaints, and moderating the websites and chat rooms.

Such third parties may be located outside of the UK and outside of the EU but we do not knowingly share identifiable personal data with them.

5. Member's responsibility

It is the responsibility of the member to ensure that you do not disclose personal data (for instance: name or address) to other members through the chat function or by other means through use of the service. We cannot guarantee the security of any personal data which you disclose to another member or third party.

Such data may be stored by us as part of our back up and for system administration and audit purposes but is not monitored by us for the purpose of identifying personal data and we do not use any such personal data for marketing, contacting you, profiling you or other purposes.
