Welcome to the latest addition to the Rustoria family. Our Rustoria Vanilla U.S. server.
To celebrate this new addition, we are striving to:
- Communicate regularly with the players and clans within the server and community, requesting feedback on changes and improvements that can be made to improve our servers
- Make community-oriented decisions in weekly meetings with the leaders of large groups within the server before changing things such as the map seed, size and player-cap to ensure player satisfaction
- Consult players on all decisions made on the server. Whether this is something simple such as the map size and seed, or the addition and modification of rules for the server
- Be as lenient as possible when it comes to the moderation of chat as toxicity is a part of the game and should not be punished on any of our servers. We aim to take a hugely different approach to people who abuse players through other means such as stealing personal information or DOS (denial of service) as this will not be tolerated
- Allow players from all regions, whether they come from the EU or from the United States, whilst overseeing players from “high cheater rate” regions to ensure that our servers are cheat free. We can do so efficiently using our synced ban database which runs across all servers and actively bans blacklisted players and VPN providers
- Provide a unique experience and offer players a better vanilla experience, including community events featuring large youtubers and streamers with raid cams to provide a more competitive experience for large clans
- Create a more compact experience, with a smaller map size than other popular vanilla servers as these can feel empty at times. We also aim to fill this emptiness with players from our other servers at non-peak times to provide a better experience for individuals playing late at night in the U.S.
- Protect our players from cheaters as much as possible using our private server-side anti-cheat system. This provides us with a highly effective tool which has boosted our possible ban rate up to 75%. This is being actively improved and updated by our in-house developer, Ryan.
- Provide instant support via Discord by utilizing our large team of moderators and administrators whom work 24/7 to ensure player satisfaction
